Are Tennis Dresses in Style in 2024?
Yes, tennis dresses are in style in 2024. Not only that, but they have made a huge resurgence as people have begun wearing tennis clothes like people wear yoga pants – to pretty much everything. When I go to the mall or the coffee shop or Whole Foods, I always notice people wearing tennis dresses. But it’s not just out in town – I am seeing more tennis dresses on the court and even in high fashion magazines like Vogue.
I for one am happy about this tennis dress trend 2024. Why? I wear a lot of tennis dresses. I have a lot of tennis skirts too, but tennis dresses are often my go-to. I like them on the court of course, but some of the tennis dresses on my list (below) are just as great off the court.
I did my best to keep the price range around $100, but there are a few honorable mentions that are worth the extra spend (in my opinion). And if you want to really go high fashion, there are some tennis dresses I’ve seen that are over $500
One thing I suggest, if you are new to tennis dresses, or new to any of these brands, familiarize yourself with their return policies. Some are easy as can be (like Athleta) and others are not. So make sure you are aware so you don’t get stuck with something you don’t want.
Tennis dresses may not be for everyone, but they are definitely back in fashion in 2024 and I for one am happy. If you want to get into the tennis dress trend, here is my list of the 10 best tennis dresses available in 2024.

Wilson is a brand that is one of my favorites to check. I own this dress in pink and absolutely love the fit and the material of this dress. I get a ton of compliments when I wear it. But the best thing about this dress is the comfortable fabric it is made of. I love it!
EDARA
The Signature Tie-Back Dress

I currently own this dress in both Black and White and I love them both. The built in shorts feel comfortable with “grippers” to help hold them down. The way that this dress is designed, is so flattering with the tie back feature.
Edara Designs come from Park City, Utah and is a woman owned business. I love supporting small businesses, but especially when I love the fit and feel of the garment.
SIX LOVE
Honeycomb Tennis Dress

This vintage inspired, beautiful white tennis dress from London based company, Six Love London is a really special dress. My favorite feature of this dress are the sweet peaked cap sleeves. That said, I love the cut of the skirt and the material that it is made of. Whenever I wear this elegant tennis dress, it is one that stands out in an understated way.

Aerie Tiebreaker Pleated Dress
Regular Price – $52.46
This Aerie Tiebreaker dress is a price friendly way to see if a tennis dress is right for you. I find the skirt to be a bit on the heavy side, but I still think that the look of this dress is cool.
When you are buying a tennis dress or skirt with a lot of pleats – make sure that it hits you right. It looks really cool if it hits you in the right spot.

Athleta is one of my favorite places to shop for affordable, well made athletic wear, that is easy to return to a brick and mortar store, if needed. It just takes some of the risk out of shopping online. This is a beautiful dress and I love the asymmetrical top layer on the skirt. NOTE – this dress is recommended for cup sizes A-C, so it might not be as comfortable and well fitting for larger chest sizes.

This beautiful dress is available in tons of colors and is a really great introduction to see if you enjoy wearing a tennis dress.I really love the scalloped edges and the wider shoulder straps. The a-line cut of this skirt is generally very flattering. This bright orange color of this dress is warm and welcoming summer weather to the courts.

Plus – Tennis Dresses are back in style in 2024. People are wearing tennis dresses in 2024 like people wore yoga pants in 2015 – pretty much everywhere. This is true to the degree that I’ve seen a pretty sharp looking tennis dress from Lululemon for around $89 – got to love anything from Lulu!
