A Review of My Top 5 Favorite Sunglasses in 2024

To wear or not to wear sunglasses when playing a court sport is a heated debate amongst players. For me, I like wearing sunnies because I feel like I am more comfortable with not having to squint in the sun, which protects the skin around my eyes, plus since I have always worn sunglasses when playing. I find it comfortable and works for me. Some players feel that glasses make things look different and it is challenging to gauge depth perception.

I have discovered that when it comes to wearing sunglasses when you play tennis, not all sunnies are created equally. I found myself in a match, and I had forgotten my sports sunglasses. I ended up wearing my fashionable sunglasses but the difference was notable

My Top 5 Sunnies

DIFF Eyewear – Bella

Here is an example of the fashion sunglasses that I often wear. I love them and they are great for everything off of the court. These are available in many color combinations but my go to are these black ones. I love them! If you are interested in picking up a pair for yourself, here is the link to my LTK Shop. You can find these and tons of other great gear for on and off of the court.

DIFF Eyewear – Lightning

But like I said, there are better options for sports sunglasses. This is what I like to use if I am on the court. This is a pair of sunglasses that I wore in a league match and I was so glad that they are a wrap-around style. During my match, the cottonwood trees were dropping so much fluff it looked like it had been snowing! With these glasses on, I was protected from getting elements in the air into my eyes.

Here are a few sunnies that I enjoy wearing on the court. I love the shape and design of these new shades.

DIFF Eyewear – Storm

DIFF Eyewear – Blitz

DIFF Eyewear – Storm Matte Black

OAKLEY – Sutro

When you are playing a sport it is a great idea to have as good of equipment as you can afford. Having good quality sunglasses will help performance and when they are a good pair of glasses, it is easy to forget about them even being there. The fashion trends that appear in sports sunglasses are modernistic and look really cool. The best part is, that wearing the right eyewear can help you see the ball well and protect the sensitive skin around your eyes.

I hope you have a ball on the court!

Sincerely,

Katri
