Cozy Wear for February
I absolutely love comfy, cozy wear that looks great. February is a great time to spruce up your comfy look. There are some great options of looks that are more than comfortable to wear, they also look adorable. Here are some of the items that I found

Book Corner - Match Point by Katherine Reilly
Tennis fans are well acquainted with the huge Gand Slam tennis tournament that is held in a little London village called “Wimbledon.” Match Point is a fictional story about Flora, a local resident and aspiring artist who leases out her flat to Kieran O’Sullivan, a hot-headed, superstar tennis player with a bad boy reputation. These two characters are delightful and the story is a sweet romance that is set in charming Wimbledon Village.
Don’t look for a lot of specific tennis references in this read. It is a good guess that the author is not a tennis player by the way that tennis is written, but the love story is delightful. The beauty of the sport is respected and Wimbledon is a dramatic and classic backdrop to let the story unfold. Tennis is woven throughout the story, but don’t read this story for tennis tips. Instead, you read it to get lost in the story of complicated love, themes of following your passion, dealing with difficult family members and navigating new relationships.
When I read this book, I loved the references to Wimbledon Village and how it looks before and during the tournament. I also loved exploring the relationships between coach/player, parent/player and the mix of coach, parent and player. I really liked reading about the friendship between Flora and her friend Iris.
All in all, Match Point is a sweet story about love, courage and friendship. I hope you will enjoy it and let me know what you think about it. Every month I review a book here at Tennis Yellow. BNP Paribas Open Tournament
My favorite tournament
My favorite tournament is next month, March, so whether you are planning on attending the BNP Paribas Open Tournament or watching it from afar, it is a great tournament to check out. BNP Paribas tournament is held in Palm Springs, California so it is a great time to check out some cool resort wear.
Of course, one of the many fun parts of the tournament is planning for what to wear. The weather can be warm, it can be chilly when the sun goes down in the evening, so plan on wearing layers and comfortable shoes. Here are some ideas of how to look great while also being comfortable.

Hope you are having a ball in the month of February and enjoy some great tennis vibes! It might be a bit cold outside, but finding a life balance of friends, family, exercise and sunshine helps bring joy and purpose to life. Now call up a friend or find a wall to hit against and get out there and hit! If you have any questions or want to reach out to me, please drop me a DM at katri@tennisyellow.com
Love all,
Katri
